Helping Wildlife in Need

Our Mission

Feathers and Fur Rehab and Education is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife. Our team of passionate experts works tirelessly to provide medical care, nourishment, and a safe haven for animals in distress. We believe in the importance of educating the community about wildlife conservation and coexistence. Together, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of our furry and feathered friends. Join us in our mission to protect and preserve wildlife for future generations.

Rehabilitation

Wildlife rehabilitation is a vital and compassionate effort focused on the rescue, care, and recovery of injured, sick, or orphaned wild animals. The ultimate goal? To restore each animal’s health and return them—strong, wild, and free—back to their natural habitats.

Rehabilitators work around the clock, offering medical treatment, proper nourishment, and a safe space to heal. Every patient is given a fighting chance, and every success story strengthens the delicate balance of our ecosystems.

Beyond the hands-on care, wildlife rehabilitation raises awareness about conservation and human impact, inspiring communities to protect and coexist with the wild world around them. It’s not just about saving animals—it’s about preserving biodiversity, one life at a time.

Wildlife Care

Our organization specializes in the care of mammals, herptiles, and a limited number of domestic and invasive bird species. While our primary focus is on these animals, we proudly partner with a network of licensed rehabilitators and organizations who care for every type of legally rehabilitatable wildlife. Together, we ensure that every creature—furred, feathered, or scaled—gets the expert help they need to heal and return to the wild where they belong.

Facility Needs

Operating an exceptional wildlife facility takes more than passion—it requires specialized equipment, expert resources, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of every species we serve. From emergency response to long-term rehabilitation, we make sure our center is fully equipped to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care at every stage of an animal’s recovery journey.

Education Programs

Public education is a cornerstone of our mission. Through interactive programs, engaging outreach events, and hands-on learning, we strive to raise awareness about wildlife conservation and the vital role rehabilitation plays in protecting our natural world. Our goal is to inspire curiosity, foster empathy, and encourage peaceful coexistence between humans and the wild neighbors we share our planet with.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are the heartbeat of our mission—whether you're hands-on with animal care, helping behind the scenes, or supporting our educational outreach, your time and talent make a lasting impact.

Pressed for time? No problem! We also have flexible, occasional roles and always welcome donations of supplies or financial contributions. Every bit helps, and together, we can give wildlife a second chance and bring communities closer to nature.
